Ave
Maria Singles Retreat
June 26-29, 2008
4 Days/3 Nights
Theme - "Theology of the Body: How Singles Can Relate"
Join
us in the beautiful grounds of Malvern Retreat House in Malvern, PA (just outside of Philadelphia) for a life-changing weekend filled with teaching, prayer, fun and socialization.
AMS Retreats are Unique
Some might say this sounds more like a conference than a retreat. It is a "retreat with a socialization" component. You get all the traditional spiritual elements of a retreat (daily Mass, formation talks, private Eucharistic Adoration, spiritual direction, time for Confessions, etc.). But you also get a lot of free time and unique opportunities to socialize with and get to know the other single Catholics in attendance. An AMS retreat is an experience like no other, and one you MUST take part in to appreciate. But isn't having music, a dance and the socialization contradictory to what a retreat is? No. In fact, it's the full circle of health prayer and relating. It's from the book of Ecclesiastes..." a time to pray...a time to work...a time to play, etc."
So don't miss this unique opportunity to share a long weekend with other single Catholics to learn, socialize, and grow in faith.
Retreat Talks
The focus of our presenters will be to help single Catholic men and women have a better understanding of "Theology of the Body". They will inspire you and offer insights on important topics that have to do with the human person as whole, and how you, as a single Catholic preparing to meet your future spouse, can enrich your life right now. Though anyone who is married or engaged to be married can easily benefit from these same talks, this experience is designed for single Catholic men and women within the context of a retreat and social setting.
So don't miss this unique opportunity to share a long weekend with other single Catholics to learn, socialize, and grow in faith.
