Basic membership allows you to post a profile, one photo, conduct searches, and send and receive messages to other members. To have all other features, you must order the Option Pack.

The following is a description of all Option Pack features that are for premium members and NOT included in the basic membership:

Default Search
This feature allows you to save a particular set of search criteria that will be run every time you login. Once in the Member Center you will automatically see all the new matches since your last login! Your criteria can be modified at any time, or even save multiple searches that you can rotate.

AMS Mobile
Get a text message from AMS alerting you when there is a message waiting for you on AMS! You can also Interact with other members on your Contact List directly by cell phone.  It is 'anonymous' in that you only see the first name and member ID; no one ever gets your cell phone number.  You can also respond to a text message you receive directly back to their cell phone without being on the website!

Bulletin Boards and Introductions Feature
All members have access to the newly upgraded Bulletin Boards, where they can foster dialogue between eachother on topics important to them. Some topics discussed relate to postings on the Events Calendar, AMS Trips for single Catholics, using the AMS website, Theology of the Body, dating and relationships, and much more. Option Pack members have a feature on the boards where they can 'Introduce' friends to one another.

Drop Your Hanky
The ladies with the Option Pack now have the ability to get the attention of a gentleman she is open to hearing from without sending a message.  Simply click on the "Drop Your Hanky" feature while on the gentleman's profile and he will get an alert stating that you have noticed him.

Ask Permission
The men with the Option Pack are now able to see if a woman is open to his writing to her before sending an initial contact.  You can always still write to her without getting this permission, but this feature allows the men to see if there is a general openness to his writing before making the initial contact.  But gentleman, if she gives you permission, please make sure your initial contact to her is a quality note and will give her a positive impression.

Post A Comment
Option Pack members can also 'Post a Comment' on another member's profile, leaving feedback, encouragement or vouching for a friend who is on the site as well.  In the spirit of fostering 'meetings' that might not otherwise happen, there is also a new 'Matchmaker' feature where members can notify friends or acquaintances from the Bulletin Boards of a member they think they might like to get to know.

Vouching For You
Ask friends and family members who are not on the site to vouch for you using the new "Vouch" feature.  These will be posted on your profile.  (Available to those with the Option Pack)
 
Make Folders
Now you can organize all those messages sent and received.  The upgraded Inbox now has the ability to create folders to help manage your correspondences.  (Available to those with the Option Pack)

'Fresh Look' Search
Allows you to search just members with recently updated profiles, for a Fresh Look at someone you might have missed!

'Trips Alumni' Search
Allows you to search for members who have attended an AMS sponsored trip, cruise, pilgrimage or retreat.

Multi-Photo Album
Allows you to post more than one photo (which only basic membership allows). Posting many photos is always a help toward having success on this site. And it allows you to present more about you than just one photo is often not able to do.

One-On-One Chat
This feature allows Option Pack members to chat with each other in real-time (like Instant Messenger) when they are both online at the same time.

Local Events Postings and Alert
The AMS Calendar of Events promotes interaction between our online members in the offline world. Option Pack members can post events and the calendar sends out notices to their email address when there is an event posted in their area. In addition, a bulletin board discussion is started on the event when it is posted, so that members can ask questions about the event or discuss it with other AMS Option Pack members.

Profile Self-Critiquing Service
Your profile is what gives the main first impression, and is so important to having success on AMS. This service allows you to find out what are the key things to look for in your profile to determine whether or not you should make a revision. You use this information to review your own profile, which is based on our long experience.

Auto Replies
Some times, there are those whom you are not interested in corresponding with any further or whom you don't wish to have contact you again. We have created kind but firm responses that you can use when you are not sure how to word it yourself. Just click the Not Interested or the Block buttons, and these replies are taken care of for you.

Saved Searches
This feature allows you to create a variety of different search combinations and save them for future use. You just bring up a Saved Search and it will automatically perform the search for you. No more starting from scratch every time you login to the site. And it is very handy to have when you are not sure what kind of searches you have already done.

Remove Profiles from Searches
Option Pack members can remove profiles from their searches that they are no longer interested in seeing. This helps save time often spent in weeding thru search returns that you are not interested in, so that you can focus on members that might be a possible match.

Online Marriage Preparation Courses
Option Pack members can take unique Marriage Preparation courses designed by our expert counselors and orthodox Catholics priests. These courses are designed to help our members approach the dating process in a healthy and productive manner and prepare themselves to be a 'good catch'.

Personal One-On-One Coaching
Only option Pack members have access to our expert coaches and counselors for one-on-one advice and guidance. For personal email or phone sessions, additional fees do apply.
