1: Our first date
I met Devin on March 24, 2007. He is from MD and I am from NJ so he agreed to take the three hour drive up to meet me. Our first date was a lot of fun, but he seemed a little reserved and I was really really nervous! I had never been on a blind date before. When I am nervous I tend to ask a lot of questions and when he is nervous he tends not to talk too much, so it worked out. At the end of the date, he came home and had dinner with my family and I was impressed at how sociable and pleasant he was with mere strangers to him. He then left for home and although we both enjoyed the date, we did not make plans to see each other again. He did say he would call that Thursday. I remember wondering and hoping that he really would. :)
